As members of Green Ridge Presbyterian Church, we declare our central purpose to be the proclamation of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We do this through worship, prayer, study, nurture, service, stewardship, love and reconciliation.

In this way we seek to evangelize our community and beyond, in order that all people might increase in the knowledge of Jesus Christ and accept Him as personal Lord and Savior.

Missions we presently support include: Presbyterian Church (USA), Medical Benevolence Foundation, Presbyterian Community Center, Reading is Fundamental, West End Center, Habitat for Humanity, Pastor's Discretionary Fund, Scholarship Fund, Lynchburg's Children's Home, Zuni Home and Roanoke City Rescue Mission.

In addition, the Presbyterian Women coordinate the following special missions:

Hunger Buster bags for Presbyterian Community Center, Brethren Service Center for overseas hospitals, Staunton Hospital (gifts for patients), Roanoke Valley Interfaith Hospitality Network (supplies), Catawba Hospital (Operation Santa Claus), Least Coin offering, Birthday offering and Thank offering.
